A pecker (often called a hydraulic breaker or rock hammer) is an excavator attachment used for demolishing concrete, tarmac, and hard rock. For a 1-ton (0.8–1.5 ton) mini excavator, look for a lightweight micro-breaker that typically weighs between 50 kg to 100 kg, operates at an oil flow of 15-25 L/min, and delivers 150-200 Joules of impact energy.
